AVAILABLE NOW!

The battle of Ap Gu, which took place on the 31st of March and ended on the 1st of April, 1967, was the largest and most successful battle encountered by all elements of the 1st Infantry Division – especially the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry, Blue Spaders, during the Division’s five year tour of duty in Vietnam.

Many articles and most historical books printed to cover the battles of Vietnam, a war that covered ten years, do not even mention this battle. While many professional journalists are excellent writers, no one can explain and cover the events of a major battle better than the men who were there. Even after forty-two years of trying to put it in the past – their memories are still with them. That is the number one reason for publishing this piece of military history.

The publication of this book is very important not only for those who served during this time, but for their family members, children, grandchildren and friends. It is also very important to the people of America and many other countries to insure that our history is kept alive and will always be available to them.

The book is available now in both hardback and paperback signed by the author - email him: puckettdavid (at) bellsouth (dot) net

Also available at Amazon.com; Barnesandnoble.com; and MANY other websites.
